Grandmother Flordemayo's Birthday Fundraiser
Dear Sisters and Brothers in the Four Directions:
We are celebrating Grandmother Flordemayo's birthday on May 28th all month long. In honor of Grandmother's 74th Birthday, We have created a Birthday Fundraiser with a goal of $5000. Grandmother Flordemayo is the Founder of The Path. We have a big goal, and we believe we can raise it together with your help!
The Path embraces all spiritual paths & aligns the teachings, events, workshops & practices of indigenous traditions & earth-based wisdom for the betterment & support of all beings. The mission of The Path is to conserve & distribute seeds for future generations. We meet our mission through seed conservation, education, & collaboration with other organizations.
Your donations are critical to ensuring the maintenance of the sacred sites at The Path.
May is a beautiful Month to celebrate so many blessings and celebrate all the "Mothers, Grandmothers, Sacred Feminine Energy, Feminine Ancestors, Fur Baby Mothers, and Mother Earth in the Four Directions. Being a mother is more than giving birth. What if the "Goddess, Mother, and Grandmother" and the feminine face of God exists within all of us and discover our energies--love, nurturing, healing, wisdom, and guidance. Our divine feminine energy offers the perfect balance to the masculine energy of our planet. A credit is desperately needed during this time of alarming world events. Let's celebrate more than Mother but the feminine wisdom and nurturer within us. The ancient teachings encourage respect for all relations, worlds, Mother Earth, and mysteries.

Many people ask, What is The Path? The Path is more than a place. It is a spiritual sanctuary, a place of prayer; it is a place for ceremony. We all have our spiritual Path. Your spiritual path is very personal to yourself, regardless of what you believe in when it comes to everything else in life. For many, following a spiritual path is like searching for something that makes them complete. That is why Grandmother Flordemayo founded The Path.
To be on a spiritual path means living mindfully, paying attention to the signs along the road, and being conscious of our mind, body, and spirit. To be on a spiritual path means to look inward as often as outward, knowing that the externals of our lives are reflections of our thoughts. These are words, manifestations of that which we are imagining and energizing into being with the fuel of our passion.
The Path is more than a non-profit. It is more than a seed temple; It is more than a temple for humanity. It is Grandmother Flordemayo’s legacy for future generations. However, it is only sustainable through grassroots fundraising and donors like you.
Grassroots donations and membership have dropped sharply due to the pandemic in the last two years. We are facing a budget shortfall as we move into 2023 and have only raised half of our small annual budget in 2022. We are asking you to consider making a one-time tax-deductible donation or chipping in monthly.

Our Vision is to raise spiritual consciousness n the inter-connectedness between humanity and Mother Earth.
We are, as all of humanity is, at a crossroads. We are facing the loss of biodiversity at an unprecedented rate. Human migration is at an all-time high, there are 1 in 100 people who are displaced from their homes for a variety of reasons, including climate change.
Heirloom seeds are our past and our future, taking many generations to diversify and cultivate. Seed banks, like the one at The Path, are crucial for our very survival. They support our survival by Preserving Crop Diversity; Protecting Us from Climate Change; Protecting Us from Natural Disasters; Mitigating Disease in Crops; Providing Seed Material for ResearchThe the last couple of years have been particularly challenging for our family. Health issues have prevented my mother from traveling as much and she has been my father’s caretaker as he recovered from knee surgery. Funding for The Path that would normally come from my mother’s travels has been diminished as a result and non-existent this year due to the pandemic.
